Cooking the Beef
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and break it up as it browns. Cook thoroughly.
- Sprinkle in the cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine.
Finishing Touches
- Add the tomatoes and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the olives just before serving to warm them.
- Top with crumbled feta cheese.
Serving
- Serve over rice, couscous, or arugula and enjoy with pita.
