  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder For deep flavor
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar Use less or more to taste
  • 1 tsp Baking powder For rising
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Pinch for flavor
  • 2 large Eggs Or 2 tablespoons flax/chia seeds mixed with water for vegan
  • 1/2 cup Dairy free butter or coconut oil Melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Don’t be stingy
  • 1/2 cup Dairy free chocolate chips Optional for extra richness

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a big bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
  3. Add melted dairy free butter or coconut oil and mix until combined.
  4. Dump in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until no dry flour remains.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.
  6. Scrape batter into a lined baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 22-26 minutes. Test with a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

For gluten-free brownies, use a gluten-free flour blend with xanthan gum. Let cool fully before cutting for better texture.
