Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups Chex cereals (rice, corn, wheat) Combination of different types for texture.
  • 2 cups pretzels Twisty pretzels are preferred but sticks work too.
  • 1 cup bagel chips or rye chips Feel free to experiment with different types.
  • 1 cup peanuts or mixed nuts Add for extra crunch or skip if allergic.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted Can be melted in the microwave.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce For flavor enhancement.
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine Chex cereals, pretzels, peanuts, and bagel chips.
  3. Melt the butter and mix in Worcestershire sauce and spices.
  4. Drizzle the butter mixture over the snack mix and stir well to coat evenly.
Baking
  1. Spread the mixture onto one or two large baking sheets.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cooling
  1. Allow the Chex Mix to cool before serving or storing.

Notes

For variations, you can add different nuts or snacks. You can also add sweets like M&Ms after cooling for a sweet-savory combination. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
