Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix almond flour and sugar together in a bowl.
  2. Add the egg white and almond extract; stir until combined.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Gently press each cookie to flatten slightly.
  5. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. Allow cookies to cool before serving.

Notes

You can dip cookies in dark chocolate or add spices like cinnamon for variations. Almond cookies are naturally gluten-free and can be stored in an airtight container for about a week.
